美國職籃NBA邁阿密熱火隊的明星球員韋德當地時間2日落淚，只因已故美國歌壇傳奇人物王子生前受訪時說，他最喜歡的美國職籃NBA球員就是韋德。
哥倫比亞廣播公司體育台（CBS Sports）網站報導，王子（Prince）不只是無與倫比的吉他手，是引領樂壇變革的音樂家，更是文化圖騰的象徵，他的身故，世界各地的粉絲、同儕甚至體壇都同感震驚。
報導說，今天韋德（Dwyane Wade）在個人推特頁面貼文，述說王子最喜歡的NBA球員就是他本人的故事。
韋德在個人推特頁面貼文說，昨天他並沒有像某些人以為的哭得很難過，但是在聽王子生前接受模特兒達瑪瑞斯路易斯（Damaris Lewis）訪問時說，NBA球員最喜歡韋德，這讓他感觸良多，難以言喻。
王子上月21日驚傳在他位於明尼蘇達州的寓所過世，享年57歲。
熱火在本季季後賽首輪的7戰4勝賽制，以4比3淘汰夏洛特黃蜂隊，晉級第2輪，接下來將與多倫多暴龍隊爭搶東區冠軍賽的門票。
